We are working toward the creation of a safe space to serve as the permanent home for animals who were previously sold or trafficked within the pet trade.​​​​​​​
Fizzy Bean Animal Sanctuary, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Maine, USA.

Founder Lindsay Marzulla spent the majority of her 20s working in pet stores, and as a result developed a strong drive to help animals that are commonly sold (and often abused or neglected) in these environments—including hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, and fishes.
Our goal is to build a sanctuary where these types of animals will feel welcomed, loved, and safe.
We have already acquired several acres of land suitable for animal habitats, including a large two-story barn. However, more work needs to be done (properly insulating the barn, etc.) before we can build these habitats.

Lindsay is in the process of creating an ecology-themed card game featuring original illustrations. Some of the one-of-a-kind, mixed-media pieces these illustrations are based on are now being sold, along with other products like stickers and prints, to raise funds for the sanctuary.
